NUP93
Plays a role in the nuclear pore complex (NPC) assembly and/or maintenance. May anchor nucleoporins, but not NUP153 and TPR, to the NPC. During renal development, regulates podocyte migration and proliferation through SMAD4 signaling. Belongs to the nucleoporin interacting component (NIC) family. 2 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
