LGALS13
Binds beta-galactoside and lactose. Strong inducer of T-cell apoptosis. Has hemagglutinating activity towards chicken erythrocytes. Detected in adult and fetal spleen, fetal kidney, adult urinary bladder and placenta. Placental expression originates predominantly from the syncytiotrophoblast.
