CDK13 a CMGC protein kinase of the CDK family. It has been reported to interact with L-type cyclins. Overexpression of CDC2L5 constructs disturbs constitutive splicing and switches alternative splice site selection in vivo suggesting that it may regulate alternative splicing. It has unusually large N- and C-termini and is ubiquitously expressed in many tissues. Two alternatively spliced human isoforms have been described.
