Belongs to the TRAFAC class dynamin-like GTPase superfamily. Very large inducible GTPase (VLIG) family. Strongly expressed in hepatitis B virus-infected liver and in HCC cells. Also highly expressed in well-differentiated gastric cancer tissues and various gastric cancer cell lines. 4 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported.
