EVI2B Required for granulocyte differentiation and functionality of hematopoietic progenitor cells through the control of cell cycle progression and survival of hematopoietic progenitor cells. Bone marrow, peripheral blood mononuclear cells, fibroblasts and Epstein-Barr virus-transformed lymphoblastoid cell lines. Strongly expressed in granulocytic cells, and weakly on lymphocytes cells. 2 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
