MOGAT2
Catalyzes the formation of diacylglycerol from 2-monoacylglycerol and fatty acyl-CoA. Has a preference toward monoacylglycerols containing unsaturated fatty acids in an order of C18:3 Belongs to the diacylglycerol acyltransferase family. Highly expressed in liver, small intestine, colon, stomach and kidney. 3 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
