ZHX3
Acts as a transcriptional repressor. Involved in the early stages of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) osteogenic differentiation. Is a regulator of podocyte gene expression during primary glomerula disease. Binds to promoter DNA. Belongs to the ZHX family. Widely expressed. High expression in kidney. Expressed during osteogenic differentiation. 2 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
