ZHX1
Acts as a transcriptional repressor. Increases DNMT3B-mediated repressive transcriptional activity when DNMT3B is tethered to DNA. May link molecule between DNMT3B and other co-repressor proteins. Belongs to the ZHX family. Ubiquitously expressed. Expressed in podocytes. 2 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
