RNMT
Catalytic subunit of the mRNA-capping methyltransferase RNMT:RAMAC complex that methylates the N7 position of the added guanosine to the 5'-cap structure of mRNAs. Binds RNA containing 5'-terminal GpppC. Belongs to the class I-like SAM-binding methyltransferase superfamily. mRNA cap 0 methyltransferase family. Widely expressed. 2 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
