PIK3CG
a member of the PI3/4-kinase family of proteins. Phosphorylates phosphoinositides on the 3-hydroxyl group of the inositol ring. An important modulator of extracellular signals including the E-cadherin-mediated cell-cell adhesion pathway. Promotes the assembly of adherens junctions and may play a pivotal role in the regulation of cytotoxicity in NK cells. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
