PLA2G2F
PA2 catalyzes the calcium-dependent hydrolysis of the 2- acyl groups in 3-sn-phosphoglycerides. Hydrolyzes phosphatidylglycerol versus phosphatidylcholine with a 15-fold preference. Belongs to the phospholipase A2 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
