Overview
YAP1 an adaptor protein that binds to HER4 and the SH3 domain of the Yes tyrosine kinase. Associates with multiple transcription factors in the nucleus, and appears to be a co-transcriptional activator for the carboxyl-terminal fragment of ErbB-4 that translocates to the nucleus. Contains a WW domain that is found in various structural, regulatory and signaling molecules. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
