Overview
Siva a proapoptotic protein. Associates with CD27, a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described. Isoform 1 but not isoform 2 may induce TNFRSF7/CD27 mediated apoptosis. Isoform 1 inhibits Bcl-xL anti-apoptotic activity. Note: This description may include information from UniProtKB.
